Congrats to the 7th/8th Indiana Girls Soccer Team on Successful season

Congrats to the 7th/8th Indiana Girls Soccer team that finished the season with an 8-2 record. Below is a recap from each game from Head Coach Tom Angelo. 

The Indiana Area Junior High Girls Soccer Team kicked off the 2018 season by defeating Greensburg Salem yesterday 10-0. Sophia Garzarelli scored three goals. Cadence Ullman scored two, while Bella Antonacci, Brynlee Schawl, Abbie Huey, Ella Myers, and Isabella Brunetto each scored one. Ryanna Collazzo earned the win in goal.

The Indiana Area 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team defeated East Allegheny 4-1. Leading the way for the girls was Sophia Garzarelli with 3 goals. Cadence Ullman also scored from a defensive position. The defense was lead by Natalie Mckelvy, Hailey Drennen, Marina Conjelko,Cadence Ullman and Abbey Huey.

The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team defeated McKeesport yesterday 4-0. Sophia Garzarelli lead the scoring with 2 goals. Belle Antonacci and Ella Myers each scored for the girls

The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team raised their record to 4-1 by defeating Yough on Thursday 3-0. Sophia Garzarelli scored all three goals for the girls. 

The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team defeated Southmoreland on Wednesday 3-0 raising their record to 5-1. Sophia Garzarelli lead the team with 2 goals, while Bella Antonacci added a goal. Ryanna Collazzo played stellar in goal, while Cadence Ullman, Hailey Drennan, Abbey Huey, and Natalie McKelvy lead the defense.

The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team defeated Yough yesterday 2-1. Sophia Garzarelli scored the first goal putting the girls in the lead. After a tying goal by Yough, Natalie Mckelvy netted the winner on a direct kick from outside of the box. The girls' record is now 6-1. 

The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team raised their record to 7-2 yesterday by defeating Laurel Highlands 5-0. Maiya Walls scored first for the girls, which was all that they needed to secure the victory. Sophia Garzarelli  scored twice, while both Abbey Huey and Natalie McKelvy each scored for the girls. 

The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team ended their season on Thursday with a 5-0 win against Greensburg-Salem. Sophia Garzarelli lead the scoring with two goals, while Cadence Ullman, Brynlee Schawl, and Eve Fiala each netted a goal.Ryanna Collazzo earned the shutout in goal.  The girls' overall record is 8-2. Way to go girls!
